Jumeirah Hills

  • Dubai, United Arab Emirates 2007
  • Total Building Area: 4,647,150 sqm

The vision of Jumeirah Hills is to create a true waterfront city that is respectful of the past and derived from the present, while creating a canvas for future change. The concept connects to the sea and is organized along water, which takes a variety of shapes. The total composition of form, color, texture, light and shadow are a celebration of its unique setting. Water is the armature around which Jumeirah Hills is organized. Different conditions of water are explored – navigable passages and canals, bays, lagoons, marinas, warm springs, and fountains – and water becomes one of the basic attractions. Water – its movement, sounds, interaction and refreshment – also offers relaxation and recreation to the people. Boats, water taxis, and waterfront promenades move people through Jumeirah Hills’ varying districts and entertainment zones, shopping districts, cultural venues, residential, office, hotel, marina and beyond.
