Bryant Street Pier
- San Francisco, California 2000
Bryant Street Pier, located on the Bay of San Francisco at Piers 30-31, lies at the terminus of Bryant Street and the terminus of Brannan Street, at the juncture between the downtown and south beach neighborhoods. Including residential, retail/entertainment, office, and the James R. Herman International Cruise Terminal that will accommodate over 80 cruise ships each year, the mixed-use waterfront project is designed to create a landmark destination for the city. The Bryant Street Pier project is being conceived in collaboration with The Port of San Francisco, the San Francisco Cruise Terminal, Lend Lease Corp., and PSA Corp. Ltd.—the world’s leading port and terminal operator. The mission of the Bryant Street Pier master plan includes: the creation of a world-class waterfront destination for international tourists and local residents; reuniting the city with the waterfront; creating clearly defined public spaces; and addressing and responding to the various civic and community viewpoints.
