Coca-Cola Park Master Plan

  • Atlanta, Georgia 2003

The Coca-Cola Park Master Plan, developed by The Jerde Partnership, includes: The Park; The World of Coca-Cola; an amphitheater; and a commercial district. The Park is designed to reflect the soul of The Coca-Cola Company, its diversity and its focus on the community. The Park will offer visitors an opportunity to experience nature in a new way. It will mix places of activity and excitement with places of quiet and repose. It will combine temporary events with permanent installations—all in order to provide unique, memorable experiences for visitors. Occupying a highly visible corner of the Master Plan, The World of Coca-Cola building, also designed by Jerde, will be a unique and entertaining attraction experience that shares the story—past, present, and future—of The Coca-Cola Company with visitors in an exciting and engaging way. The amphitheater will be an intimate downtown music venue that will showcase Atlanta's most talented artists as well as entertainment events from around the world. The commercial district is designed as an embracing backdrop to the unfolding Park environment, where human-scaled facades peak through the treetops and undulating shopfronts, two or three stories in height, offer an array of consumer services.
