Inspired by the Baiyun Mountain's majestic beauty, as a place of wonder, discovery and urban refuge, Jinmao Place was conceived as a picturesque notion of early morning clouds gently rolling down a mountainside into the valley.

Anchoring three very distinct residential towers, the podium of the project features a new lifestyle commercial center with outdoor terraces gradually ascending above the city streets to an oasis rooftop garden dining destination.
Constructed primarily of stone façade at the base, this reinforces the project's connection with nature. The strong stone facades and lush, landscaped terraces of the podium are inspired by the rocky paths at the base of Baiyun Mountain.
Within the retail podium, there are two alternative routes to the upper levels of the project. There is a main route that takes you through a double loaded retail corridor that is interrupted by the main plazas of the project. There is a secondary route that takes a meandering but simple pathway up the exterior mountainside of the podium. This hill-climb takes you from the ground level garden walk, up to the food court and terminates at the Brewery, a multi-level dining destination with its own outdoor dining terraces.
